Reading Reflections

Please note: The instructions for the reading reflections are all the same, although the readings themselves may change. I have included a separate post in this blog (which you can find here), with the reading list.

Entrepreneurship- and topic-specific readings are assigned each week of this course. Rather than have you complete a quiz over the reading, which requires you to simply memorize the content and key terms, you are asked to reflect on what the readings mean to you, how they fit within your own expectations and experiences, and how they fit within the other exercises and experiences you are acquiring in this course. Drawing connections between new information and our previous experiences helps us learn far more deeply.
For each reflection post, I ask you to address the following areas:
1) What was the biggest surprise for you in the reading? In other words, what did you read that stood out the most as different from your expectations?
2) Identify at least one part of the reading that was confusing to you.
3) If you were able to ask two questions to the author, what would you ask? Why?
4) Was there anything you think the author was wrong about? Where do you disagree with what she or he said? How?
You want to be sure to cover these four elements, but I place no minimum-word requirement on your post. You definitely want to include the phrase "Week 2 Reading Reflection" in the title and "Week 2" in the label.
Once you have published this post, please complete the Declaration below.

Text for declaration below:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
I have read the assigned reading for this week.
I have published a blog post about this week's reading.
I have proofread my post, and I have run spell check.
I have included "Week 2 Reading Reflection" in the title and labeled the post "Week 2."
